- Microsoft Word for the Macintosh version 5.0 Now Supports QuickTime(tm)
-
- The Movie PIM works in conjunction with the QuickTime multimedia system
- extension from Apple Computer, Inc. and allows you to playback and edit movies
- within your Microsoft Word for the Macintosh documents. Now you can add movies
- the same way you add pictures and illustrations, to create documents that
- literally show what you have to say.
-
- Microsoft's Movie PIM takes advantage of Word 5.0's Modular Architecture.
- Because it's a module, you can simply drag the Movie PIM into your Word 5.0
- Commands folder to update, without having to upgrade the entire Microsoft Word
- 5.0 program. Microsoft Word for the Macintosh's modular architecture also
- enables Microsoft and other developers to extend Word 5.0's functionality and
- lets users customize (and save disk space) by installing or removing the
- features you choose.
-
- The Movie Plug-Module Fulfillment Kit is available as of May 4, 1992. Owners of
- Word 5.0 can download it today from this bulletin board for the cost of the
- phone call or order it directly from Microsoft for $7.50 by writing to:
-
- Microsoft Movie PIM Offer
- P.O. Box 3011
- Bothell, WA 98041-3011
-
- For more information please read the installation Readme and the Playing Movies
- within Word Readme.
-
- If you'd like to try out a sample movie, download the Sample Movie File as well
- as the Word Movie Plug-In Module file. The sample file is 550k.
